Project Overview
Western Sydney University’s newest City Campus gives up to 10,000 students and 1,000 staff a new home for learning in the heart of the city, developed in partnership with Walker Corporation. The vertical, technology-driven building has achieved a 6-Star Green Star design rating, representing global leadership in sustainable building practice with rainwater capture and re-use, innovative thermal and lighting systems, and solar roof panels giving students a campus that’s as considerate of the environment as it is of their education.
Scope of Work
TTW delivered Structural Engineering services for the campus, including:
- Design and construction methodology for a 16-metre-long cantilever
- Delivery of the project on the basis of substantial identified cost savings for the client
