Delivering a brand-new $1.3 billion hospital for Queensland’s fastest-growing corridor
Project Overview
The $1.3 billion Coomera Hospital gives the rapidly growing northern Gold Coast corridor access to world-class medical care, close to home. Delivered as part of Australia’s largest health capital program, the Capacity Expansion Program, the new facility provides more than 400 beds across medical, surgical, maternity, coronary and intensive care specialties, giving patients and families a state-of-the-art healthcare environment to rely on.
By relieving demand on Gold Coast University Hospital, the facility also strengthens the wider Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service network, supporting better care for the whole region.
Scope of Work
TTW is delivering Structural, Civil, Façade, Construction and Traffic Engineering services, including:
- Project planning
- Advanced ETABS modelling
- Post-tensioned design
- Upfront carbon benchmarking and development of targeted carbon reduction strategies to support more sustainable project outcomes
