Project Overview
Aeon Mall in Jakarta Garden City gives the local community a landmark destination to shop, gather and be entertained. Home to Indonesia’s highest Ferris Wheel, standing 70m above ground. Spanning 135,000 square metres of retail floor area, the mall brings together everyday convenience and standout experience in one place, engineered to support the scale and ambition of the design for everyone who visits.
Scope of Work
TTW delivered Structural and Civil Engineering services, including:
- Specialised structural engineering solutions to support the 70m above-ground Ferris Wheel
- Design solutions using reinforced concrete and precast special moment frame seismic structures
- Long-span bridges crossing the atriums, with the roof structure supporting a 50m diameter Ferris Wheel
